Meet the Brand: Gingko Electronics

Posted by Gaia Ridley on

We are so excited to introduce you to our first lifestyle brand - Gingko Electronics!

Gingko was founded in 2011 by Paul and Natalie Sun (pictured below), a husband and wife duo, in Oxford, England. Their products can only be described as innovative and unique whilst the concept remains simple and clear - stylish and practical products for home and design-led gifts.

It can be a chore to find items for your home that equally serve to please the eye and to function in everyday life but Gingko makes it simple. Their aesthetic is sharp with preferred textiles including wood and leather in a variety of shades. We have opted to stock Walnut, Maple and Black Leather Smart Book Lamps in our introductory range and we are confident that they will be a huge hit.

The idea behind the Book Lamp means it is not confined to the home. The 6-8 hour battery life allows you to take it wherever you go and it’s perfect as an extra reading light when you go abroad. Additionally the tough Tyvek paper ‘pages’ are water-resistant so it’s a great, portable camping light that requires no set up and isn’t bulky - just charge and go!

It’s cleverly concealed magnets and it’s flexible shape allow you to open the book up to 360 degrees (as below) so whether you want to light up a cosy corner or fill the whole room with a little extra light, Gingko Smart Book lamps are nothing but versatile. It’s made with powerful LED lights with a life span of 50,000 hours showing durability is key in the design of these lamps.

They are high quality and have already been a hit with the whole office with all of us being equally impressed with the quality and overall originality of the products. With Gingko, it is obvious the amount of time and care put into curating every product in the range and we are sure you will love them as much as we do!
